CONRAD RUIZ

“Cold, Hard and Wet” Exhibition.

Text Via Slamxhype:

Despite only graduating last year LA based painter has become the surprise hit of the art world. His rise to success started when on of the pieces from his graduation show (a painting of Obama riding a corgi) became a permanent exhibit at the Berkeley Art Museum, he then went on to become one of the finds on Art Basel Miami and has now just opened his first solo show “Cold, Hard and Wet” at the Silverman Gallery in San Francisco.

Working in watercolours his work is an abstract, yet realistic explosion of colour and action inspired by action films, sports, video games and sci-fi. Immensely engaging and loads of fun, you just cant stop looking at these paintings. A new artist we will certainly be keeping an eye on.

“Cold, Hard and Wet” is at the Silverman Gallery in San Francisco until 30th January.
