KUNTZEL + DEYGAS EXHIBITION
The celebrated design duo of Kuntzel + Deygas recently opened their latest exhibition at the Joyce Gallery in Paris. The show features a plethora of their art and design creations, including lifestyle items such as speakers, chairs, carpets and more fine art style pieces. HELVETICA COOKIE CUTTERS
Typeface. Tasty, tasty typeface. Font fanatic Beverly Hsu has created a contemporary cookie cutter that carves out the greatest font of all time, Helvetica. The Helvetica Cookie Cutters produce cookies that faithfully replicate the format of the Helvetica font, making tasty treats for the design minded. iPAD
Today at their annual press conference Apple announced the iPad, a tablet that is essentially an oversized iPod Touch. The device had been rumored for several months,with iSlate and iTablet among rumored names. The device incorporates a 9.7-inch (25 cm) multi-touch In-plane switching display made by Innolux running at XGA resolution, a subsidiary of Foxconn. The price is $499 to $829.
The iPad will be available for sale in the United States in March 2010. No pricing or release has been made available worldwide. International 3G prices are to be announced summer 2010.
