MOS DEF x UNDERCRWN "CUT & SEW" COLLECTION

This season, we’re bringing you the highly anticipated “Cut & Sew” range. Polished and mature, the new collection effortlessly blends collegiate athleticism and style. The “RBG ,” “RBG Patchwork” and “Brooknam” jackets are each peppered with plenty of clever details. Colorful hand crafted prints (mixed with hand drawings by Mos Def) are set against sleek monochrome materials; Pops of zesty yellow and blood red are used to accent buttons, zippers and mesh linings. The mixture of bold prints set against streamlined design creates a contemporary fashion sensibility throughout the entire collection.

FUCT SSDD 2009 FALL/WINTER T-SHIRTS

FUCT added three more graphic designs to their batch of SSDD (Same Shit Different Day) t-shirt program. A bit more vibrant than prior previews, the tees follow much of the same aesthetic we’re used to seeing from the Erik Brunetti-headed label.

HERMES BRANDED 'LIVE ON WATER' SUPERYACHT

There are superyachts, and then there’s the new Live on Water concept. Put together by Monaco-based yacht maker Wally Construct and Paris-based high-fashion luxury brand Hermes, the new watercraft not only stuns with an exquisite design, it also makes for a green wave commuter. Dubbed WHY (Wally Hermes Yacht), this colossal luxury yacth is 58 meters long and 38 meters across, enough to feature a 25 meter pool and a 36 meter beach for ultimate sea-faring relaxation. Other than its high end amenities and the contemporary living spaces, it comes with a 900 square meters solar panel array and a waste management systems capable of holding both organic and inorganic waste.

ATMO.SPHERE

Atmo.Sphere is a poster series by graphic designer and artist Sabato Urciuoli. These posters by the Turin-based designer are intended to explore elements of both architecture and physics, and are limited to 100 pieces each.

An epic moment went down in Atlanta a few weeks back as Goodie Mob reunited in concert (for the first time as a complete unit in a decade)for the "Remember Atlanta Show".....wish i could have been there.

SINK BY DECOR,.... A QKIAOI

This interesting sink is designed by Decor, an Italian company, take your powder rooms and bathrooms to a whole new level. The Qkiaoi sink is masculine yet sculptural, taking its inspired shape from a spoon, with a handle that extends to form an integrated towel rack. A decorator's dream, it is made of glass pigment and resins, which offers virtually any color and comes in transparent, translucent or opaque finishes. This means a wide range of looks, from clean and contemporary to ultra-modern, and high-end.

COLANDER TABLE

Colander, a table of 909 holes, is the latest project by Daniel Rohr, designed to delete space and material. Produced by way of a CNC milling process, the polished aluminium tabletop starts out at a weight of 408 kg. (899 lbs.). The space between the plate glass top and the metal bowl makes any object that is set upon the table seem to hover above it.

iNE5 LIGHT

The ine5 light by Croatian designer Zoran Sunjic is a decorative lighting object that brings a sort of customization to the appeal of the lamp. Users can apply graphics and different motives, signs or even commercials on its surface through laser carving, acid carving or just by applying sliced or printed foils. The panel can be made from any acrylic transparent board by hot wire or hot tube bending, so the surface can be bent irregularly. The light source is linear, which can be a fluorescent compact T16, a thin cathode light or an LED source. The inverter is placed in ceiling. The ine5 light also has a table lamp and floor lamp, although they are not bright enough to be used as reading light.

ATLAS CHAIR

Scott Jarvie will be exhibiting his atlas chair at this year's 100% design london. the design is derived by projecting flat angled planes through a volume and using the intersecting elements to generate the profiles that create the sections of the chair. this allows complex surface geometry to be rationalized to planar surfaces, providing sculptural possibilities while utilizing materials efficiently, developing a system that facilitates construction.

London Design Festival 09: artist Nik Ramage will present a mechanical copy of his own hand that continually drums its fingers at 100% Design in London next week.
