ABOUT CHING-CHING
Between the late 80's to the 90's, Panama City, Panama was strongly influenced by America. Not only did the armed forces make their presence felt, more importantly for a young girl named Ching-Ching, that time period brought over the American Hip Hop culture as well. With Hop-Hop's flashy clothes, tongue twisting flow and urban vanacular, Hip-Hop started an epidemic in this foreign country and Ching-Ching was one of it's target's.
Born D. Melania Anckle also known as 'Ching-Ching", she was raised by her mother in a small poverty stricken country in Central America. Panama, the birthplace of reggaeton music, influenced Ching-Ching's choice of sound and rhythm. It is also the reason why she uses Latin percussions, brass and other intrumentation in her production. Growing up she entered dance competitions, won various talent shows, performed in musicals and did anything to fulfill her need to be involved in music.

Now she is breaking down doors and being marked as the next up and coming phenom. She doesn't let being a woman intimidate her or discourage her in any way. "I like the fact that people are surprised that I make the beats I make. It's a good challenge and it's rewarding at the end of the day. It's time for something different, isn't that how Hip-Hop lives, it has to grow right? I'm no role model by any means, but I don't mind empowering other females or anyone for that matter. I want musicians and people in general to know that it's ok to be you and feel comfortable in your own skin."

Ching-Ching is also co-founder and COO of the High Society imprint. A record label she created with new-comer artist Azage. Ching-Ching's sound is currently being heard across the US, Europe and Central America. With the demand she's getting to work with new artists, she just might be on your next favorite artist's single. Her influence in fashion, music and film will shine on the world as her burgeoning career expands to the masses. watch for Ching-Ching and her team to make a heavy statement. With talent and determination the sky's the limit!
